Carbon Fabric

Carbon fiber fabric is just like other fabrics except it uses carbon fibers instead of cotton, nylon, polyester, etc. The weave is coarser than fabrics used for clothing is more like a heavy canvas. Carbon fiber fabric needs to be laminated with a matrix (i.e. epoxy resin) to form a rigid structurePrepreg is a version of carbon fiber that already has a tacky resin impregnated into it.

Kevlar Fabric

Kevlar has many applications, ranging from bicycle tires and racing sails to bulletproof vests, all due to its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio; by this measure it is five times stronger than steel. It also is used to make modern marching drumheads that withstand high impact. It is also used for mooring lines and other underwater applications

Stitched Fabric

Stitched Fabrics are ideally suited for selective reinforcement. Fibric is bundled and stitched together, rather than woven, so there is no crimp in the yarn. As a result, these reinforcements offer optimized directional strength for their finished composite parts.

Core Mat

Coremat is made by incorporating microspheres in a polyester based fleece. Because of these microspheres, Coremat creates a low weight volume and increases stiffness without the extensive use of costly materials.
